TWEAKER
Tweaker is a drum machine and synth for macOS where every sound is synthesized from code, with a built-in agent that edits your song.
Download for MacWhat it is
Every sound is codeKicks, snares, hats and keys are synthesized in Rust from oscillators, noise and filters. No samples.
Drums and keysStep-sequence eight drum voices, then switch to a polyphonic synth with a piano roll and play it live.
Grow the songBars run left to right. Linked bars share a pattern; copy one to change it on its own.
An agent for the songAsk for a groove, a fill or a key change and it edits the song for you. It only works on music.
Lo-fi on purposeTape wobble, warm saturation and a dim VHS glow, somewhere between Boards of Canada and the Backrooms.
Runs on your MacThe sound engine runs locally. Songs stay on your machine.
First launch
Tweaker isn't notarized by Apple yet. After you drag it to Applications, right-click Tweaker and choose Open, then Open again. If macOS still refuses, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. You only do this once.
